Job Description

Lincoln Memorial University (LMU) is seeking a dedicated and driven Assistant Mens Basketball Coach to support the head coach in all aspects of the mens basketball program. This full-time position plays a vital role in the recruitment, development, and mentorship of student-athletes, as well as in practice planning, game preparation, and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities Include:

*Assist in planning and conducting practices, scouting opponents, and developing game strategies
*Identify and recruit prospective student-athletes in compliance with NCAA and university guidelines
*Foster the academic, athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes
*Support team travel arrangements, compliance documentation, and program operations
*Represent the university and program with integrity and professionalism

• 
  

  Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred



• 
  

  Prior collegiate coaching experience strongly preferred



• 
  

  Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills



• 
  

  Commitment to NCAA Division II rules and student-athlete development
