Associate Attorney – Estate Planning
Location: Melbourne, FL
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000

A well-established law firm in Melbourne, FL, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in estate planning to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on sophisticated estate planning matters, providing high-quality legal services to individuals and families.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advanced directives.

• Advise clients on asset protection strategies, wealth transfer, and tax implications.

• Handle probate and trust administration matters.

• Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel on estate planning issues.

• Work directly with clients to develop customized estate plans that align with their goals.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to ensure efficient case management.

• Stay up to date with relevant state and federal estate planning laws.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.

• 3-5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.

• Strong drafting and analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent client communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning is a plus.

• Experience with elder law, Medicaid planning, or business succession planning is a bonus.

• Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.
