Job Description

Job Title: Computer Support Technician
Location:  On-site in Minneapolis, MN (with occasional travel to St. Paul, MN)
Duration:  up to 2 Years

Clearance Required:  DOJ Background Investigation (Minimum Background Investigation waiver required prior to start)

Work Hours: 40 hours/week (8 AM – 5 PM), with occasional evenings/weekends and overtime (pre-approved)
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide IT customer support including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of networked systems, ensuring availability, integrity, and security
  • Conduct quality assurance, implementation, and system testing across data, voice, and video platforms
  • Support web content and intranet maintenance, including editing, troubleshooting, and content uploading
  • Contribute to litigation support and case management systems
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Post-high school education (degree or relevant coursework)
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT-related experience, including:
    • Systems administration and troubleshooting
    • Network configuration and optimization
    • Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, SQL Server
    • Experience with helpdesk/customer service tools
  • Competency in the following areas:

    • Customer Service
    • Problem Solving
  • Strong verbal/written communication and documentation skills
Preferred certifications:
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft certifications
 
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and meet DOJ residency requirements
  • Must be willing to undergo DOJ security background check and sign confidentiality, nondisclosure, and loyalty agreements
  • Should be able to start on or before September 26, 2025, pending clearance
  • Ability to work under the direction of Government IT Systems Manager and adhere to federal standards and ethics training
