About Elite Fireplace & Dryer Vent Services:
Elite Fireplace and Dryer Vent Services is a fast-growing, small local business who helps keep our communities safe through the services we provide. We clean, inspect and service wood-burning and gas fireplaces as well as clean & service dryer vents. We also repair masonry and gas fireplaces and chimneys. As a small business we aim to set the highest working conditions and standards for all our employees.

Title: Fireplace & Dryer Vent Service Technician
Location: Sacramento, CA
Status: Full-Time Employment
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $18.00 – 21.00, depending on experience, with room to grow
Company Vehicle: Employees start and end their day at the office where they will pick up a company vehicle

About the position:
This position requires a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and become a professional in a new trade. As a Fireplace Safety Expert, you will be trained to clean, inspect, and repair all wood burning fireplaces. Service, diagnose, and repair gas fireplaces. Inspect, clean, and repair dryer vent exhaust systems.

As industry leaders we strive to achieve the highest level of workmanship as well as professionalism. There is an initial 2-4 month training period. Below is a brief day to day possible work scenario:

1. Inspection/cleanings of wood burning fireplaces.
2. Masonry fireplace repairs. (Tuckpointing, brick work, demo, etc.)
3. Full service/diagnostic of gas fireplaces.
4. Inspection/cleanings of dryer vent systems.

Skills and Experience:

Experience with hand and power tools
Attention to detail
Minimum high school diploma/GED
Clean driving record
Successful background/ drug screening
Able to lift 80-100 pounds
Must be comfortable with climbing 1 and 2 story roofs
Basic problem-solving skills
