About the Role

We are a dynamic merchant services provider delivering exceptional payment solutions to businesses. We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer to play a key role in building our enterprise software and managing our production infrastructure .

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in high-availability environments, enjoys solving complex system challenges, and is comfortable writing backend code to support mission-critical applications. You’ll be responsible for developing backend services, maintaining and optimizing Linux-based systems, managing Postgres databases, and securing cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Integration

  • Develop and maintain backend services to support internal and customer-facing applications.
  • Build and optimize APIs for seamless integration with third-party services and internal applications.
  • Write scalable, maintainable code in Golang (or be able to pick it up quickly if experienced in Java, C#, C, or Python).
  • Work with Node.js when necessary to maintain existing services.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure system stability and deliver product improvements.

System Administration & DevOps

  • Maintain & optimize Linux (Debian) systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Manage & optimize Postgres databases to maintain performance, integrity, and scalability.
  • Administer cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud) for scalability, performance, and security.
  • Monitor & automate deployments, logging, and incident responses.
  • Ensure system security & compliance through best practices and proactive monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience managing production Linux environments (preferably Debian-based).
  • Strong Postgres (or similar relational database) administration experience.
  • Solid background in security, networking, and system reliability.
  • Cloud infrastructure experience (Google Cloud preferred, AWS/Azure also valued).
  • API development and integration experience.
  • Proficiency in a backend programming language (Golang preferred, or Java, C#, C, Python).
  • Some experience with Node.js.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills & ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Git (Bitbucket) for version control.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (Angular, CSS, HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Experience working with payment gateways or merchant services.
