Our work depends on Data Analyst Associate joining our team to support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) mission to conduct oversight, monitoring, and audits of the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program.

Responsibilities:
  • Performs data analysis, interpretation, and reporting duties. Develops rules and methodologies for data collection and analysis.
  • Works with a team to conduct analysis and present findings to our team and customer.
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify solutions to complex challenges.
  • Use critical thinking and exploratory research to understand program rules and how data can provide insights to inform decision making.
  • Utilize analytic skills including ability to efficiently work with large datasets to uncover patterns and trends that are meaningful to program oversight and action.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of related experience using technology to conduct analysis and report findings.
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE CONDUCTING IN DEPTH ANALYSIS OF HEALTHCARE CLAIMS AND EXPENDITURES INCLUDING PRESCRIPTOIN DRUG CLAIMS.
  • Experience using SQL, Python, Tableau, SAS or similar analytic and reporting tools.

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Conducing in-depth analysis of healthcare data including prescription drug claims

The likely salary range for this position is $80,750 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
