About the Team: The eCommerce Analytics team partners with the eCommerce Product and Strategy teams to build products and experiences that enhance the experience for millions of customers. You'll leverage data support and drive the work of teams who develop experiences that have changed the industry, including the cart and checkout experience, account creation and sign-in flows, and other purchase-oriented digital experiences. The role involves partnering closely with multiple Product, Engineering, Design, and Business teams to elevate the site experience across verticals on Walmart. What You'll Do: Partner with Product Analytics Management, Product Managers, Business Strategy, Design, and Engineering teams to track and analyze new and existing product initiatives. Leverage clickstream data to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and influence product roadmaps. Perform conversion analysis, funnel analysis, impact sizing to inform decision-making. Define and monitor KPIs to measure product performance and health. Define the customer engagement data capture strategy and collaborate with engineering to ensure data accuracy. Create reports and dashboards using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Splunk to monitor product performance. Use extensive SQL experience to query and process large datasets from databases like BigQuery or Hive to identify opportunities. Apply statistical power analysis and hypothesis testing to shape analytics strategy. Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate new product features, aiming to improve customer experience across platforms. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for product improvements. Use advanced analytics techniques such as regression, clustering, classification, and gradient boosting to identify product and business opportunities at scale. What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in analytics. 3+ years of experience with SQL. 2+ years of experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, PowerBI). Strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in mid-to-large scale analytics teams. Masters degree in related fields. Interest in progressing into analytics management roles. Related industry experience (retail, merchandising, eCommerce, etc.). Experience with Python or R for analytics and data management.
