Job Description

Allegra Marketing Print Mail in Plymouth, Michigan, is a full-service commercial printer serving local, regional, and national clients. Job Duties:

  • Estimating
    • Process r equest for e stimates utilizing the company MIS estimating system , PACE .
    • Create accurate, detailed estimate letters that are easy for clients to understand and leaves little opportunity for misinterpretation.
    • Email estimates to internal team members and/or client directly.
    • Review all estimates before sending to recipients to e nsure a ccura cy .
  • Order Processing
    • C reate and/or convert estimates into orders.
    • Ensure all job instructions are clearly stated on job ticket .
    • Schedule order based on company standards, customer requirements and production availability.
    • Review all orders before sending to recipients to ensure accuracy.
  • Scheduling
    • Schedule all incoming work according to established guidelines to meet customer expectations.
    • Update schedule in a timely fashion when necessary.
    • Negotiate schedule with appropriate parties when special schedules are required.
    • Check WIP (work in progress) and Ship List Reports daily .
  • Purchasing
    • Communicate with vendors to gather costs.
    • Create detailed and accurate purchase orders.
    • Track, receive, and follow-up on all purchase orders to meet schedules.
    • Document all correspondence with vendors.
    • Monitor quality and on-time deliveries of vendors used.
    • File and follow up on all claims made to a vendor.
  • Communication
    • Communicate customer expectations .
    • Communicate issues and challenges to internal departments and/or clients .
  • ISO Requirements
    • Understand all training plans, control plans, work instruction, mission/quality statement and quality improvement processes.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • 3-5 years’ experience/knowledge in Commercial Printing
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • 1-3 years’ experience in customer service.
  • Detail oriented
  • TEAM player
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.

Preferred Skills but Not Required:

  • 2-4 years’ experience/knowledge in Commercial Print Estimating
  • Knowledge of ISO requirements
  • Knowledge of EFI EPace MIS system
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
