Join Our Team: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Inspire Psychiatric

Inspire Psychiatric is growing, and we're looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient private practice. This is a chance to provide compassionate, top-tier mental health care in a collaborative setting. You'll work closely with a team of psychiatric nurse practitioners, psychologists, and therapists to create effective treatment plans tailored to each patient.

In this role, you'll conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose psychiatric disorders, prescribe medications, and help patients and their families develop coping strategies. We're looking for someone who is not just skilled, but also enthusiastic about being a core part of our team and enhancing our practice.

Position Details:

  • Full-time role: Requires 28-35 hours per week of direct client interaction. We support a gradual ramp-up, potentially starting with two days per week for the first month and increasing thereafter. Most providers meet with patients four days a week.

Requirements:

  • Current license to practice in California.
  • Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Master's or Doctorate degree.
  • Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations and implementing evidence-based medicine in prescribing.
  • Proficiency in establishing professional and therapeutic rapport with clients.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in the field of psychiatry or mental health.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Private Practice is advantageous.
  • Skilled and passionate about working in the field of psychiatry.
