Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Property Operations Managers on capital plans, sustainability projects, monthly reporting, and property meetings
  • Participate and present information, as required, at co-venture meetings, virtually or in-person
  • Conduct regular property inspections and ensure optimal performance of janitorial, maintenance, and security services
  • Lead long-term planning for major repairs, replacements, and capital enhancements
  • Oversee procurement and management of service contracts (e.g., snow removal, landscaping, cleaning, and equipment maintenance)
  • Address tenant concerns promptly and professionally, providing necessary follow-up and support
  • Oversee tenant initiatives related to insurance, legal, environmental, and energy programs, coordinating implementation as needed
  • Participate with the Leasing and Specialty Leasing Departments in arranging new leases, renewals and showing vacant units to prospective tenants
  • Monitor tenant compliance with lease agreements, resolve problems and concerns, and advise Leasing Department of unstable tenancies
  • Support Property Accounts Administrators with accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Contribute to variance reporting, forecasting, and year-end financial statements
  • Assist with lease documentation and tenant billings, as required
  • Monitor expenses monthly and quarterly, analyze variances against budget, and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience managing a Commercial Portfolio
  • Experience managing Retail properties
  • Experience with Financials and Budgets
