Process Engineer I: - Analyze business needs, define requirements, and identify & recommend process improvement and design solutions with oversight from a more senior team member.
- Analyze existing business processes, data, systems, work flows, and models that are used by the business to better understand the existing environment.
- Develop applications and enhancements using Java, SQL Server, and vendor software development tool (Chorus BPM suite of tools)
- Assist in test scenarios (automated or manual) to validate programs/application functionality and integration at a unit test level.
- May be called upon to assist off-hours implementations and software environment validation
- Identify the various business resources that can contribute to the requirement gathering process for each of the business areas impacted.
- Work with the key stakeholders of the project to prioritize and rationalize requirements.
- Support project team as necessary to ensure timely and accurate completion of project tasks.
- Communicate issues, risks, concerns, and questions to project team and project manager throughout the life of the project.
- Write, test and debug programs, Process Flows, and system interfaces
- Develop technical documentation and operating instructions and controls associated to product support
- Participate in assigned on-call rotation duties by manager
- Troubleshoot application and/or interface problems
- Resolve user acceptance problems
