We are actively looking for a Release Manager with extensive experience in banking and financial domain to join our team.

Hybrid: 3 days a week from downtown, Toronto

Key Responsibilities

Release Planning & Runbook Creation

• Develop comprehensive Release Plans (Runbooks) that detail key tasks, milestones, timelines, and responsible parties, ensuring alignment with project goals and compliance standards.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Facilitate seamless collaboration among cross-functional teams including Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Scrum Masters (SMs), Developers, QA/Testers, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to drive smooth and timely release execution.

Stakeholder Communication

• Clearly communicate release schedules, scope, expectations, and risks to all stakeholders, ensuring visibility, transparency, and preparedness across the organization.

Risk Management

• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that may impact the release timeline, quality, or scope by implementing contingency plans and tracking risk resolution.

Process Automation & Optimization

• Streamline and automate release processes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Jira, ServiceNow) to reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and enhance deployment efficiency.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor release metrics and post-release outcomes to identify areas of improvement, capture lessons learned, and implement process enhancements for future release cycles.

Cross-team Collaboration & Alignment

• Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Client Experience, Operations, and SRE teams to ensure strategic alignment, stakeholder readiness, and customer impact awareness for all released products and features.
