Job Description

We have a client who is a busy and growing metal fabrication shop with a strong reputation for high-quality custom work. Their team specializes in fabricating sheet metal and structural steel components for a variety of commercial and industrial applications. They take pride in doing the job right — from reading the blueprint to delivering the finished part — and are looking for a skilled direct hire welder who shares that same pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail in Cleveland, OH .

What we can do for YOU:

• Pay: $20+/hr; based on experience
• Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints to build and assemble parts
• Welding using MIG and TIG techniques on various steel types, including thin sheet steel, heavy, and structural steel
• Grinding, finishing, and prepping welded parts for delivery
• Managing orders independently from start to finish—get an order, build it, and send it out

Qualifications:

• Experience with MIG and TIG welding on steel
• Ability to work with both thin sheet steel and structural steel
• Comfortable reading and working from blueprints
• Must bring your own head mask and gloves; all other PPE provided
• Pass a background check and drug test (clean for 3 years if in recovery)
