Position Overview TruFit is seeking a talented and motivated Social Media Content Creator to join our growing marketing team. This is a full-time, in-market role based in San Antonio, TX, requiring frequent travel to club locations for content capture and campaign execution. Travel is up to 50% per week. Compensation range is 52,000 to 64,000.
This role is perfect for a creative storyteller who’s passionate about fitness, understands trends, and can produce high-quality photo, video, and written content that connects with our members and drives engagement. From scripting to shooting to publishing, you’ll own the creative process and be the brand voice across platforms.

Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Strategy
- Capture and produce high-quality video and photography content at TruFit clubs (workouts, member stories, events, trainer highlights, etc.)
- Develop monthly content calendars for social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
- Write compelling captions, headlines, and campaign copy in line with our brand voice.
- Stay ahead of trends and implement best practices in real time to keep content fresh and relevant.
Social Media Management
- Manage posting schedules and publish daily content across all channels.
- Engage with community comments, tags, and DMs to boost online interaction.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize content based on insights and KPIs.
Collaboration
- Partner with club leaders and department leaders for ongoing collaboration.
- As a member of the Marketing team, you’ll work to ensure alignment with national campaigns, promotional materials, and follow the annual marketing plan.
- Support campaign launches, special events, new club openings, and community initiatives with onsite content.

Requirements - 2+ years of experience in social media content creation, marketing, or a related field (fitness or lifestyle brand preferred)
- Understanding of fitness preferred - ability to understand proper form when reposting workout videos.
- Proficient in photography, videography, and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Canva, Lightroom, CapCut, etc.)
- Strong copywriting skills and knowledge of platform-specific voice/tone
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Later, etc.)
- Ability to travel to our locations throughout Texas and Tennessee (must have reliable transportation)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
