• SimpliFi Clinical Interviewing- Only to pre-ID, interview will be conducted by hiring manager
• On Call, Call Back Requirements: None
• Weekend Rotation: EOW
• Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
• Required experience: 2 years Tele-MS experience
• Preferred experience: Travel experience preferred, but not required
• RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
• Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Parking: Free
• Floating Requirements: Region 2 or Region 3
  • Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital)

  • Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)

    ***If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)

• 874 Licensed beds
• Level I Trauma
• Teaching Hospital
• Chest Pain Center
• Stroke Center
• Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Unit Information:

• ADTU consists of 4 med-surg and med-tele units with the primary focus of decompressing the ED and other specialties areas within the hospital.
• Beds:
  • 6CD - 19 beds
  • 3K - 8 beds
  • 5A -12 beds
  • 3L - 7 beds

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

• Adults/Geriatrics
• Common diagnoses include COPD exacerbation, Pneumonia, CHF exacerbation, Fall with injuries, MVC with injuries, Pulmonary embolism, DVT, UTI, Pneumothorax, GI bleeds, CVA
• Patient Ratios:
  • RN:
    • 6CD - 1:5
    • 3K - 1:4
    • 5A - 1:4
    • 3L - 1:4
• Required Licenses: National Certification, Certs (AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS.), Driver's License
• Skills required: General Med/Tele skillset: Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, foley insertion/management, etc.), PCA pumps
  • Medication gtt management to include : Cardiac drips, Heparin, blood products, IVF
